WE ARE AN AKC SAFE SALON

Clear Lake Kennels has completed the American Kennel Club's Safe Salon grooming program*.

Grooming professionals who complete the AKC Safety in the Salon course and pass the associated test are eligible to become AKC S.A.F.E. Groomers and Salons.   At the center of the AKC S.A.F.E Grooming program is the Groomer/Salon Oath. Groomers and salon owners certify to follow the oath, which showcases their commitment to holding pet safety in the highest regard. Participants must submit an application demonstrating their grooming experience and pledge to safety. 

Clear Lake Kennels offer all breed dog and cat pet grooming, limited show grooming, in a state-of-the-art facility. Hydro surge and Prima bathing systems, electric hydraulic grooming tables, Clipper Vac, high velocity no heat dryers, hand fluff drying, non-toxic products. "We have a hairstyle specialist for your breed".

We've been adding a few fun things — add color to your dog's grooms — mohawks and today's fantasy colors to name but a few!!!  Ask your groomer about what you can do.
